The result is a beguiling peek into MonoNeon's impossible-to-classify inner world where Prince-style funk collides with '70s soft rock and synth-tinged R&B. As the last bassist to play regularly with Prince, MonoNeon carries that legacy forward while remaining stubbornly himself.
